The Greater In You Is Working

Do you believe that Greater Is He who lives in you than He who lives in the world? We can say we believe it but does our will, emotions and desires reflect it? When we allow ourselves to focus on the problem we magnify it, making it bigger than the Creator God in us. The word of God tells us not to worry about tomorrow because today has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:25-34). When we allow ourselves to meditate on God’s word each day we are positioning ourselves to hear and see how God is not only solving today’s problems but strengthening us to overcome future problems (Psalms 1:1-3). How we learn to trust God today as we abide in His presence, reveals how we will most likely be able to trust Him in the future.

Jesus told us to abide in Him because apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). However, in Him we are able to get favorable results because we trust what He is telling us to do. When we don’t trust Him, we allow the enemy to steal our victory by influencing us to doubt God’s faithfulness. Every time we trust God, He is taking us from faith to faith and glory to glory. The more we hear faith the more God’s revealed word will come to us. He will direct our thoughts and ways in His higher, heavenly thoughts and ways where we begin to think like Him (Isaiah 55:8-9). When we start to think like God we are empowered to walk like God and manifest supernatural results. Our mind becomes transformed and now we are the living proof of God’s acceptable will. God desires that we will live an abundant life, however, that abundant life lives inside the mind of Christ (Phillipians 2:5).

We should be pursuing the word of God more than anything else in life because within the word of God is where all blessings flow. How much time have you invested in pursuing your education? How much time have you invested in pursuing a promotion on your job? How much time have you pursued in having a career? How much time have you invested in that relationship with the person who is not really that invested in you? All of these life pursuits will deplete our time, energy, focus and capacity to love if it is not rooted in God’s wisdom and understanding (Proverbs 4:7). Our walk by faith is about pursuing God’s wisdom and understanding that is His higher and heavenly thoughts that cause us to reign and rule in life.

Us pursuing God’s wisdom and understanding is us pursuing His kingdom and righteousness first. The word of God promises us that when we pursue God first, all these things will be added to us. Why do you think this is so? This is due to all these things being hidden in the higher and heavenly thoughts of God Who is our abundant life. All God’s blessings starts with us understanding the wisdom of His word, which empowers us to walk by faith and manifest supernatural results because we are manifesting His kingdom on earth as it is in His higher and heavenly thoughts.

All creation lives in the Creator who understands the thoughts and ways of His creation so He is able to direct our path in victory when we acknowledge Him and trust His guidance. There is no problem, dilemma, issue, satanic strategy, court case or any situation bigger than the living and powerful God who has all of Creation in Him. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. He also finished the solution on the cross giving us back full access to what He knows. We just have to have the desire and courage to seek after His kingdom first, so He can add all things to us.

His living word tells us that when we wait on Him, we will mount up like eagles and fly (Isaiah 40:31). His word tells us that when we take pleasure in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). His word tells us that when we trust Him we dwell safely and secure with no fear of evil (Proverbs 1:33). His word tells us that no deadly thing will harm us when we are in Him (Mark 16:18). His word tells us that His grace abounds more than sin (Romans 5:20). His word tells us that a thousand shall fall at one side and ten thousand at our right hand, but it shall not come near us (Psalm 91:7). His word tells us that greater is He in us then he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

No matter what opposition we face in this season of our life, understand that God is greater. When we have faith as a mustard seed we have the authority to speak to the mountains in our life and tell them to be removed and cast into the sea (Matthew 17:20). The key is we need faith that only comes by hearing His word, which is a revelation of His higher and heavenly thoughts, that is the abundant life that Christ came to give back to us (Romans 10:17).  He accomplished that goal on the cross when He said it is finished. He dispersed that power when He resurrected in full power and authority in God’s higher and heavenly thoughts. When we know God’s higher and heavenly thoughts, we understand the truth that sets us free from whatever wants to enslave us.

I want to encourage you, as I encourage myself to saturate ourselves with words of faith until the living and powerful word of God overflows out of us and into every negative and discouraging circumstance in our life. We serve the all-powerful and all-knowing God who has never lost a battle and has already won the war. He is waiting on us to seek Him and give Him permission to fight on our behalf (Jeremiah 29:13).

I welcome you to join the Virtuous Women’s Lounge Community where we not only fellowship to build an authentic relationship with women who desire to seek the heart of Christ.  We strengthen our members in the abundant life of faith that God has already secured for them. He is just waiting for us to reach out and touch the Him of His garment so that our faith can make us whole (Luke 8:43-48).
