Silence Your Fears And Awaken Your Faith

Love is desire. Within our mind, lives our soul and spirit that consist of the spiritual voices of desire. It is how we hear the Holy Spirit of God and the Evil Spirit of Satan. The spirit realm carries the voice of desire because desire is what our body responds to (Genesis 1:6). Jesus revealed in John 8:44, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” The word of God reveals in Psalms 37:4, “Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Our desires outside of God’s presence in our heart is desperately wicked and deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9). This is the reason Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God (Mark 12:30) with all that we are.

When we love God with all that we are, we silence our fears with the presence of God’s perfect love which cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). The Spirit of fear is at the root of every evil desire that has a voice motivating us to respond in fear. During times such as this it is important to rest in the presence of God’s living and powerful word that is His perfect love that cast out all fear. When we delight ourselves in the presence of God’s perfect love, we allow His word to purify our desires as He gives us the desires of our heart.

This includes the evil desire God wants to silence so that evil desire does not become an idol known as a principality who is on demonic assignment to put our hearts in captivity trying to keep us from experiencing the promises of God (Ephesians 6:12-19).  When we are in the presence of God, there is fullness of joy and lasting pleasures (Psalms 16:11). God wants us to enter His presence by doing the spiritual work of praying, meditating, reading and fasting that activates our hearing the voice of faith so we can respond to the faith that we hear (James 2:1-26). We do not only need to hear faith we need to respond in obedience to the faith we hear so our faith can become evident (James 2:1-26). This process silences the spiritual voice of fear that does not line up with God’s voice of faith. Hearing faith reveals the desires of God and hearing fear reveals the desires of satan (Romans 10:17).

The more we hear God’s voice the more our lifestyle of worship is perfected because we are worshipping God in spirit and truth (John 4:24). The more we obey God in our heart the more the voice of fear is silenced and we become single-hearted and single-minded with His voice of faith which is His perfect love that cast out fear (James 1:8).  Our life’s journey is about us walking away from the presence of fear and going deeper into the presence of faith where God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit abides in us with the intent of (Matthew 28:16-20) baptizing our mind, spirit, soul and body in the image according to the likeness of God’s presence (Ephesians 4:23).
