Your Testimony Slays Fear

The word of God tells us in Revelations 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”  It is our testimony of God’s faithfulness in our lives that slays Satan in his advances to kill, steal and destroy our heavenly and earthly promise lands. The enemy knows that if we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior that we are saved from the penalty of sin due to the blood of the lamb.

Satan tries to stop us from accepting Jesus because he is just that evil that he wants us to not only spend eternity in hell but experience hell on earth in every area o our lifestyle because of the hell that rages within. He tries to stop our deliverance from the power of sin to hinder us from experiencing the fulfillment of God’s promises in every area of our lifestyle. However, God gives us each an opportunity of escape that is hidden in every decision the enemy will try to use to keep us as slaves to fear. This hidden opportunity is how God works every attack of the enemy for our good. The word of God tells us in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Every time hell breaks out in our lives, this is an opportunity for us to seek God so that He can make it work for our good according to His purpose. God’s purpose is always rooted in us being created in the image and likeness of His spiritual body, which is the heavenly Godhead of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Every time we allow God to bring us through the trials and tribulations that the enemy sets to test our faith we walk towards God’s purpose of healing and restoration (Romans 8:35-39).
When we walk towards our healing, we began to experience His love more intimately in our lives through relationship and fellowship with Him that reveals our true identity in Christ (Philippians 2:5). This is why the word of God tells us in James 1:2-8 to count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. Our walk by faith is our testimony of God’s perfect work where we are made perfect and complete in the image and likeness of God; lacking none of His wisdom and understanding for what we are purposed to be and assigned to accomplish. Our testimony is our walk by faith that defeats the enemy in our lives as we are delivered from the power of sin on demonic assignment to kill, steal and destroy our true identity in Christ.
As the popular culture saying goes these days “He Slays” in us any image that is not of Him so we can be perfected in the image of His power, love and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep walking towards your authentic identity in Christ and allow Christ to show you how to take back everything the enemy has stolen in your life.
