Ladies, the word of God tells us in Romans 1:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” During our journey of faith God is perfecting us in the image and likeness of who He created us to reflect, Himself. As we are being transformed, what we were conformed to will be exposed as His truth in us is being revealed. During this process of unveiling our authentic identity, the accuser of our flesh will try to bring to our remembrance the areas of our lives we were conformed to or areas in our lives that do not fully reflect the Christ in us.
James 1-6 tells us, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who give liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”
Rest in the presence of God’s word and trust that God is doing a perfect and complete work in us. What we need to be transformed into will not happen if we are focusing on what we were being conformed in. Jesus saved us all from the penalty of conforming to sin. If we will allow ourselves to focus on Him; He will give us the power to punish the areas of our lives we need to be transformed in (2 Corinthians 10:6). Transformation only happens when we are in the presence of His living and powerful word. It is in the presence of God that we are made strong in His image and likeness and the desires of our heart began to be transformed. The more we are in the presence of His living and powerful word, the more we will be strengthened and the power that sin had in us will be destroyed because of His presence now being increased in us. Where sin has abounded in our lives, God’s grace will abound more when we allow ourselves to be healed in His presence (Romans 5:20).
God’s presence is anywhere His living and powerful word is. His presence rest wherever His living and powerful word is being preached and received. We have the freedom to allow His living and powerful word to enter the gates of our heart so His presence can rest in our mind, spirit, soul and body transforming us into the reflection of His love, power and sound mind where we are made whole. This is where we become one flesh with the living and powerful word because His living and powerful word has been written like letters on our hearts.
The word of God says in 2 Corinthians 3:3 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. The word of God also tells us in Hebrews 10:16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them”. God’s covenant is established in us when we allow ourselves to be in the presence of His living and powerful word as our walk by faith transforms us into the image and likeness of His living and powerful word.
I encourage you to enjoy spending time with God first. Let Him do what only He can, transform us whole in Christ. Condemnation will no longer be able to accuse us because we have been made whole in Christ Jesus. When we are whole in Christ, the evidence of our faith will be apparent in our lifefstyle because it is now written on our hearts, mind and lived through the actions of our body.
