The Success Found In The God Kind Of Faith

When we believe like God we are acting in the image and likeness in which He created us. This image and likeness is rooted in faith, not fear. In Hebrews 11:1 the word of God reveals to us that, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” It further reveals in Hebrews 11:3 that “by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” The word of God is faith and therefore the substance of our hope. When something is seen or visible it is in the realm of sight. We do not believe by sight because everything that is in the sight realm was first established in the spiritual realm. We must first understand the spiritual realm of faith if we want to understand how to be successful in the sight realm.

The God kind of faith is one hundred percent solid substance because it is one hundred percent God’s word that will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). The God kind of faith is solid as a rock (Matthew 24:35). The God kind of faith is different from the faith of this world. We believe by faith through grace. The world believes by faith through their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Our own understanding stems from our own beliefs and works of self-knowledge that was never established in the word of faith and His works of grace.  The word of God that is the word of faith tells us that we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). The God kind of faith is the rock of our salvation because of our faith in Jesus Christ, who is the revelation of God’s grace and truth (John 1:14). We get to experience the revelation of God’s thoughts and ways on a moment by moment basis when we meditate on His word day and night without ceasing (Psalms 1:1-3).

God created us to be in his image and likeness of His faith which is our inheritance and gift of grace. People who trust in their own understanding do not have access to the God kind of faith because they have not activated their power in trusting God instead of leaning to their own knowledge rooted in their own understanding (Hosea 4:6). This is how Adam and Eve fall from grace because they chose to trust the tree of knowledge of good and evil which is not the same knowledge of the Creator God (Genesis 2:17). The only way we are invited into the God kind of faith is being born again by the Holy Spirit who is the tree of life John 3:1-20).  Jesus released His Holy Spirit to all who would believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that He has risen from the dead. He released His Holy Spirit to reside in us so His Holy Spirit could redeem our lost souls and give us the gift of grace, which is eternal life.

When trials and tribulations come and we use this as an opportunity to trust in God, we will be made strong in the image and likeness of the Holy Spirit where we begin to understand God’s thoughts and ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). When we choose to trust God to do His perfect work of faith in our life, just like Jesus, we to will understand God’s glory that is full of grace and truth (John 8:32). Let God’s perfect work of faith continue to resurrect us in the spirit of His truth, as He cleanses us from the deadness of any knowledge that is not rooted in His knowledge of eternal life, which is our saving grace.   In order to grow continually in the God kind of faith, we must be positioned in our desire to pursue God by desiring to learn how to trust in God’s thoughts and ways so we can live the abundant life that Christ came to bring us (John 10:10). When our belief in the God kind of faith develops into trust we have learned to commit our belief to God. Committing our beliefs to God becomes our blessed lifestyle where we experience abundant power, love and sound mind in our personal and professional relationships.
