The Great Counselor

A counselor is supposed to be a minister of reconciliation because they are supposed to bring you closer to the higher and heavenly thoughts of God where you become a new creation. It is important that we become a new creation because we were originally created to be in the image and likeness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The way we become a new creation is with renewing our mind so we can prove God’s acceptable will for our lives (Romans 12:2).

When mankind fell from God’s grace, we fell from the higher and heavenly thoughts of God causing sin and death (Romans 6:23).  As our thoughts and ways became separated from God issues starting to spring forth from our hearts (Proverbs 4:23). This issues created every unfavorable condition known to man from relational issues, health issues, wealth issues and mental issues. These issues became rooted in the spirit of man, who has a deceitful and desperately wicked heart because of being aligned with the Spirit of Error, known as Satan’s Spirit. The Spirit of Error separates people from the Spirit of Truth that is purposed to set us free from the Spirit of Error (John 8:32).

Jesus, who is known as our Great Counselor (Isaiah 9:6) came to restore all mankind back to God’s higher and heavenly thoughts that make us whole in the image and likeness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This is the ministry of reconciliation to Father God who is the giver and sustainer of abundant life. When Jesus ascended to heaven and the Holy Spirit descended to earth, the ministry of reconciliation was able to manifest in the minds, spirit, souls and bodies of mankind; returning us back into right relationship and right fellowship with Father God.

Today, because the Great Counselor resides in those He sent to preach His word (Romans 10:14-17), the Great Counselor empowers us to counsel people with the living and powerful word of God that which brings total wellness (Hebrews 4:12) because the living and powerful word of God makes us one with God’s higher and heavenly thoughts. The thoughts of God is the anointing that breaks the bonds of wickedness (Isaiah 58). Every issue in life needs to be resolved at the root of people’s spirit before the effects of our own understanding can be removed and renewed in the higher and heavenly thoughts of God.

The great commission is for us to encounter the Great Counselor who makes us whole because the issues that were once defeating and killing, stealing and destroying our power has been removed and restored in the image and likeness of God’s higher and heavenly thoughts that is our power to have total wellness.  The more we allow ourselves to pursue God’s way of thinking and believing by positioning ourselves to hear faith from His living and powerful word, the more we will become free of the issues of life.

The word of God tells us in 1 Peter 1:16, “Be Holy, for I Am Holy.” God’s higher and heavenly way of thinking is what makes Him Holy and it is what makes us whole; with nothing missing and nothing broken in our mind, spirit, soul and body (James 1:2-8).

When we allow the Great Counselor to perfect the work He started in us, everything that was tormenting us will loose power because we are now full of the power of God. If you are experiencing problems in life and wonder why you are moving backwards instead of forward or why you are experiencing issues, it is time to seek the Great Counselor and allow Him to transform as He restores what was broken in us.
