Self Righteousness is good but not holy and it separates us from the righteousness of God who is Holy. Self-righteousness assignment is to prevent us from receiving the truth that sets us free. Self-righteous desire is to have us walking in a spirit of offense whenever someone tries to heal us through revealing the truth with the perfect love of God to bring healing and restoration in the area of our life where the presence of self-righteousness remains. God wants to bring healing with His righteous presence that is Holy and He created us to be in the image and likeness of His holiness. God desires to be in fellowship and relationship with us but needs to prepare us for His presence. Sin’s assignment is to separate us from the Holy presence of God that makes us whole in mind, spirit, soul and body.
We are created to be in holy communion with God but we must fellowship with Him through His living word so we can grow in deeper relationship with Him. Holy communion is God’s Holy Spirit communicating to us daily directing us in His grace and truth that sets us free by redeeming us during the evil days that lack His presence (Ephesians 5:16). God’s presence is our inheritance and promise because we were created to be in Holy communion with Him. We know during the last supper Jesus had holy communion with His students of life, known as the twelve disciples. During holy communion, they ate bread and drunk wine. The eating of bread represented the body of Christ and drinking the wine representing the blood of Christ. However, this is just symbolizing to the disciples and us to trust the presence of God that heals our mind, spirit, soul and body so we may become one with His spiritual body and receive total healing and restoration in ou minds, spirit, soul and body.
The more we seek God’s kingdom and righteous the more we will become one with His presence as we leave the presence of sin in us behind (2 Corinthians 5:17). The word of God tells us that sin wants to rule us (Luke 22:31). Sin is the identity and therefore presence of Satan in the mind, spirit, soul and body. However, the word of God also tells us that God has given us authority over sin (Luke 10:19). The word of God instructs us to be as harmless as doves but wise as serpents. The dove represents the fruit of His Holy Spirit and the serpent represent Satan’s spirit. Therefore, we are called to walk in the Holy Spirit being fully aware as we discern the wisdom and schemes of the enemy who is on assignment to separate us from the love of God. The enemy will always present us with pride because pride is the presence of his self-righteous nature in mankind to separate mankind from God’s righteous nature that is purposed to live in us.
The world’s belief system is rooted in the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life because it wants to separate us from God’s belief system purposed to reside in our mind, spirit, soul and body. Our souls are purposed to be in fellowship through relationship with God’s Holy Spirit because without His Holy Spirit there is no other relationship that empowers us to be in holy communication with God the Father. The relationship of grace and the fellowship of truth reveals God’s glory that is full of grace and truth. We need God’s glory in every area of our lives because His presence is needed when we are in relationship and fellowship with people. Holy communion is the fulfillment of the commandments Christ left us to love God with all we are and to love our neighbor as we have loved ourselves in the presence of God’s glory.
