No matter what our nation is going through, God is going to work it out for those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28) so we can return to our first love as we are used to return a perishing world to their first love. The great commission mission is to baptize all the nations with the presence of God (Matthew 28:18-20). Jesus resurrected from the dead as living proof that God’s grace abounds more than the kingdom of sin and death (1 Corinthians 15).
The word of God tells us in Romans 8:35-39:
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?36 As it is written:“For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
People experiencing and walking in God’s love towards each other is the answer to what is trying to destroy people, communities, nations and the world. Ephesians 6:12 tells us,”For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. “No matter what personal struggles we are experiencing, no matter what familial struggles we may experience, no matter what community or social economic issues we are experiencing, us putting on the full armor of God is what defeats the enemy. The word of God tells us in Ephesians 6:13, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” This is because as 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 we do not fight with carnal weapons but our weapons are mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. The mighty weapon God has given us is to speak life into people and demons will have to flee because our words carry the presence of God that is our mighty weapon. God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
God’s grace is full of God’s love and truth (Romans 5:20) that sets people free from fear. God’s love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8) by healing and restoring what sin wants to kill, steal and destroy. It is time for God’s people to walk in the authority that has been given to us to declare and decree the peace of God; reigning not only in our lives but our communities because God’s grace abounds much more than the presence of sin, power of sin and penalty of sin.
